A magazine feature..•

With nearly 10 years in business, I've had my share of (spam) emails wanting to promote my products or feature me. There is usually a catch and it usually involves $$$. I've become accustomed to hitting that delete button without giving it a thought..
Until, the Editor of Flea Market Home & Living emailed me. I saw it come across my phone and (thank God) I didn't hit 'delete'!! That night I read through the email; First there was shock, then obviously excitement finally the "holy crap" nerves began..
The Editor was so incredibly kind and made me feel completely at ease. I completed the interview questions, sent off my photos, said a prayer that I didn't write anything stupid and waited. Near the end of September a large envelope arrived and I could hardly breathe! In all my career, a career I love passionately, this was the biggest and most exciting things to ever happen. It was quite a surreal moment.
In the interview I talk about our company, of course, and all the great products we offer. I also talk about some incredible things I've experienced leading up to this moment; Everything from selling one of my first upholstered sofas to MTV for their offices, to creating barn wood signs for Bath & Body Works stores, to being featured on Miss Mustard Seed's blog - A true honor as Marian is someone I have looked up to and admired from the beginning!
Truly though, every time I see the cover of the magazine (because you know I had to frame it :) ) I feel like someone should pinch me. And as exciting as this has been, I just know God has so much more in store for my future and really; I'm just getting started.. ;) Jenni
