Styling for Spring using thrift store finds, greenery and antiques..
•Posted on April 09 2019

Spring is really one of my favorite times of the year. It feels like a fresh start, a new beginning, a rebirth... We can (finally) spend some time outside cleaning up and prepping our garden beds. We absolutely LOVE to garden and I'll be sharing some of what we do soon. But for now, I'm focusing on the buffet area in our living room...
It was so much fun putting this together! It really was a conglomeration of things I already had..
I hand-painted the old hardware store sign on this incredible oval piece of wood. The faux concrete bunnies I picked up at a thrift store and I just love how sweet they are.. The vintage book stacks can be found here.
Ivy is one of my favorite houseplants to grow because, first of all, it's relatively easy to keep alive but mostly because it trails and drapes so beautifully.. The wood planter covers the ugly nursery store plant nicely and I've used the aged clay pot to tuck my small ivy in..
See, aren't they adorable?!
This old arched architectural piece we picked up at a barn sale was perfect to hang over the hardware store sign and serves as a bit of a shelf. I tucked a few old bottles up there and a sprig of greenery..
And of course there had to be a cute pillow! The latest addition to our classic ticking stripe line is this sweet sage green and soft white striped pillow with wooden buttons... I'm so excited for this new pillow and I love it's soft colors for Spring! You can find it here!
I hope you enjoyed my little "tour"! I'm not a professional blogger by any means. I really began this to share more of our home/lifestyle and decided to just have fun with it... I have a real passion for antiques and get real joy out of styling them in unique ways. I hope you like it... :)
