    Disappointed

Instructor very nice, but provided very little actual instruction. Did not walk around much to engage participants. Tools not plentiful and a bit worn. Not enough material to cover top soil for all participants. Based on photos from website, it seemed like a pot was to be included, but wasn't. Interesting hands on experience, but not worth the money.

    Great idea, Poor Execution

I really like Jenny and thought the concept was great, however, I didn’t think we got what we purchased. The boxwoods were fine. We didn’t get any aged terra cotta pots which were advertised. Just a few clipping shears were provided and none of them would cut. There should have been a clipper per person sharpened and ready. The topiary example print out was so small you couldn’t read or see the examples. Jenny should have mingled more and offered more instructions throughout the workshop. What was scheduled (2 hours) was wrapped up by 6:45. The gourmet food was not gourmet and cold.
I heard from a few ladies who thought they should have received a discount or refund.
So to wrap up this review, I would say that Jenny should have included in her email out the day before to the attendees, that she would not be able to provide the ladies with the items as promised and if they would like a refund she could provide them. Better yet, maybe cancel the workshop until she could provide the project supplies as presented. In the future, Jenny should just manage expectations beforehand and not assume that everyone would appreciate her false advertising.
